ShadowLands is an upcoming fantasy card collecting 2D game that allows the player to dictate the pace and the manner in which their character plays. Begin by choosing your champion class, each with starting strengths and weaknesses. Move in a variety of game maps and find and bind powerful Ancient Champions to your character, like the powerful Samurai Akio!
Continue using the same bound Ancient to gain power with the ancient by following the Ancients path!
Move through one of a number of campaign maps collecting items, spells and abilities to gain levels and defeat monsters in exciting card combat. Do so with up to 3 other players in co-op or competitive play!
Find your perfect build, with over 500 cards available at launch, there are endless possibilities! Do you want to be a powerful warrior who causes the enemy to bleed each turn? Or would you rather be a defensive tank who can't be killed? Want to be a Wizard who specializes in causing enemies to lose turns? Or do you prefer to be a glass cannon who does massive damage? Find the items that suit your playstyle, bind them to your champion so you begin with those items for future playthroughs! Build up your champion in whatever way works for you and drive back the Shadow that is destroying your land!
Beyond experience and cards to bind, players acquire coins for battles won that they can use to get booster cards to add to their arsenal that can be used in campaign maps. Outside of just those campaign maps, create a custom deck to survive the Shadow Tower, a survival mode meant to test your champion's endurance. Climb the tower to acquire even more coins and cards to use with your Champion.
Development and is expensive and we're currently striving for the highest quality version of the game, with a number of features to build and enhance your Champions. We currently have the majority of art, assets and gameplay functions completed, but we want to have as many ways to play in the game as possible at launch.
